MPS2 Test Results

Interpreting your MPS2 prostate cancer test results report

What does MPS2 Measure?

MyProstateScore 2.0 (MPS2) is a urine test that can help you and your doctor understand your prostate cancer risk. The clinically proven test uses genetic markers and other personal health factors to determine your risk of high-grade prostate cancer, which is a type of cancer needing prompt attention and treatment.

What do my MPS2 results mean?

MPS2 calculates a personalized risk score for prostate cancer. The risk score is reported as a percentage and is categorized as “low risk” or “increasing risk” of high-grade prostate cancer. The personalized score gives you and your doctor clear and accurate insights to help determine the next steps that are best for you. An increased risk score means you may need further intervention such as a prostate biopsy, whereas a low-risk score suggests that a biopsy may be avoidable in favor of a less invasive approach such as ongoing monitoring of lab tests.
